General

  1. TAPE is a business in the retail industry which markets and sells footwear, apparel, and accessories through our footprint of brick and mortar stores as well as our Online store (this website).
  2. This site serves as an online footwear, apparel, and accessories store and no other physical items will be billed for or shipped from this site. Service fees such as for deliveries may also be incurred.
  3. All products sold from this Online Store are 100% authentic. We do not sell, accept, or otherwise deal with fakes or "factory variants". You can buy with confidence as all products offered for sale are thoroughly inspected by experienced staff for condition and authenticity.
  4. All the content on this website is the intellectual property of TAPE. This includes design elements, slogans, logos, product photos, product descriptions, etc.
  5. All Brand logos depicted are the copyrighted property of the respected brands.

Online Profile & Ordering

  1. Orders can not be placed without creating an Online Profile.
  2. An Online Profile (also referred to as an Account) is merely a profile created for you, as a user of this website. It does not constitute an account offering credit or payment terms in any way.
  3. Orders will be billed and confirmed on the Online Profile created with the email address you provide when registering.
  4. Orders with incorrect billing, delivery or contact information, or orders requiring additional verification, will be delayed.
  5. In creating an Online Profile, you give TAPE permission to communicate with you about your account, orders or any other marketing activities.
  6. You may choose to unsubscribe to our marketing messages, however, account and order communication is necessary for order/delivery updates.

Payment and Billing

  1. TAPE has partnered with various Third Party payment providers, details of which can be found on our FAQ page.
  2. Orders are only confirmed when the final invoice amount is paid (and confirmed as paid).

Delivery

  1. You can view our Delivery policy here.
  2. All orders incur a flat delivery fee of R150.00.
  3. Orders will only be confirmed and shipped once it is confirmed as being paid in full.
  4. Handling time may vary as per our Delivery policy. Customers will be contacted in the event of any stock issue or unexpected delay of dispatch.
  5. Please ensure that you provide accurate information to receive your order as soon as possible.
  6. You will receive communication about your delivery using the email address used when registering your Online Profile. You may also receive notifications or updates on the telephone number provided.

Returns and Refunds

  1. Returns/Exchanges are subject to our Returns & Exchanges policy viewable here.
  2. All sales are final. No refunds will be given.
  3. Returns are only entertained if it meets the requirements set out in the Returns & Exchanges policy.
  4. Due to the nature of an online store and while we endeavour to only sell products that are in stock, overselling may occur in rare occasions, resulting in refunds.
  5. Clearance/Sale products may not be refunded or exchanged. All Clearance sales are final and will not be accepted for refunds or exchanges.
  6. In the case of returned shipments, the customer is responsible for any and all additional shipping fees incurred unless otherwise specified in the Returns and Exchanges policy.
  7. TAPE takes no responsibility for returned packages with incorrectly provided addresses. Should a package return - customer can opt for a refund less shipping fee, or to pay an additional shipping fee for a re-shipment.
  8. Additional fees may apply for shoes with special or oversized packaging.

Lost Packages and Disputes

  1. We will only deem a package lost if it has not arrived at the destination after 60 days. At this stage, we will issue a full refund and make arrangements with the customer.
  2. TAPE takes responsibility for all aspects relating to the transaction, including the sale of goods and services sold on this website; customer service and support; dispute resolution; and delivery of goods.
